Pete Rust has built the new purple heart engine bed for the Whale Boat at Port Townsend Shipwrights Co-op. Pete is building the aft deck cockpit as well. It will have a bronze cleat for towing or tying up the boat up.

Work on the Whale Boat continues at Port Townsend Shipwrights Co-op. Last week Shipwrights Pete Rust and Jeff Galey finished reframing the vessel. Next Pete will begin to rebuild the shear line, shear straight and blocking.
