Orion, Deep Green Wilderness‘ 64 foot wooden yawl is back at Port Townsend Shipwrights Co-op  for annual maintenance and woodwork.  The sailing vessel is located in close quarters with the Navy Whale BoatOwner, Kevin Campion and Cheif Mate, Kris Day worked on the paint job.  To read more about Orion’s success with copper free paint, refer to last year’s article: Copper-free Paint Solutions for Wooden Vessels.  Matthew Martz and Jeff Galey are working on two new sepele deck boxes designed with removeable bottoms and raised up to allow for water to flow beneath.  To learn about Deep Green Wilderness and their fabulous sailing programs, refer to their website: Deep Green Wilderness
