Paragon has been coming to Port Townsend Shipwrights Co-op for annual haul outs over the past 7 years.  This year Paragon’s seining skiff was hauled out as well.  A new motor has been installed with a cleaner and “greener” engine, more quiet and no oil leaks.  Project Manager, Rick Brenden, has done a great deal of metal fabrication, including modifying the engine bed and bracket mounts for the Cummings Deisel engine.  Adam Genness installed new electrical, plumbing, cooling, and fuel systems.   The owner, Randall Babich, comes weekly to help complete work.  He was very complimentary of the Shipwrights Co-op, referring to the crew as “very honest people”.

Paragon had glass repairs on the bow, new crab lights mounted up on the mast, various metal projects, bottom paint, and zincs.  The Seining Skiff is on standby for launch today, and sea trials to follow.
