They will be back in the water for December’s festive Christmas Tours to Seattle and the Christmas Ship Parade. Each time the vessel is hauled into the shop, it just barely fits. Last week the owner, Pete Hanke, was recalling in 2005 when Shipwrights Co-op removed, rebuilt and reinstalled the engines for Glacier Spirit. Puget Sound Express’s crew member, Trevor, assisted with sanding the hull and maintaining rudder parts. David Vane of The Drawing Board, Inc. is finishing up the lettering now that the hull paint job is complete.
