In the metal shop, Zeke is making spreader fittings and compression bands for Destiny. He is working off of drawings by Dave Griswold and engineering as he builds the rigging parts. Each diameter must be considered individually and the right strength determined in the process. There is a fine balance between building a high quality, durable part without too much weight. This streamlined gear will maintain a smooth sailing performance aboard Destiny.
