Paul Daniels brought Swell Rider to the Shipwright’s Co-op three weeks ago. In this short time project manager, Todd Lee and his team repaired the shaft, barring, and propeller, removed 20,000 pounds of obsolete refrigeration equipment, sandblasted and painted the lazarette, concreted for ballast, completed exhaust systems work, metal fabrication repairs and modifications, and ventilation upgrades. Whew! Daniel brought a crew for painting the boat and the Shipwright’s Co-op assisted in facilitating the necessary equipment and local contacts needed for the work. Swell Rider can now return to the important task of fishing for delicious shrimp and Dungeness crab.
